Not only does it look and feel beautifully soft, It’s also a breathable fabric that helps us maintain a comfortable temperature, keeping us warm and cosy in Winter and cooler when temperatures rise.
It’s also a surprisingly absorbent fabric, in fact it can absorb 30% of its weight without feeling damp! No wonder it makes a perfect Summer cover-up.
Silk also dries really quickly, which we found to be very useful on our recent beach photo-shoot. And best of all, because of its natural protein structure, silk is the most hypoallergenic of all fabrics.
