A heavier weight silk cotton sarong printed to 200cm x 100cm from the “Windswept” series of paintings onto gypsum; creating wonderfully abstract textures on a large scale. Finished with a bright orange cotton trim which really pops in the sunshine!
 
We love wearing as a full sarong, tied around the waist or as a more traditional wrap on chilly evenings.
 
We hand wrap each item in one of our gorgeous silk pouches (made using off-cuts from our “Tree” silk scarves), so it arrives looking special and provides a great way to store your scarf. Both packing and postage is included in the price shown.

“WINDSWEPT” COLOUR STORY
Our studio is near The River Thames with some beautiful meadows that are wonderful to walk in, especially in the Spring. This little mixed media piece was painted onto plaster and is a celebration of all the zippy spring greens and cobalt blue skies - bright and colourful with a sunny optimistic quality reflected in the splashes of coral and yellow. The textures from the original piece which include the naturally occurring air bubbles in the plaster as it sets, are greatly magnified and create wonderfully abstract detail on a large scale.
