“TIDES” COLOUR STORY
Inspired by long walks along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, my Tides painting started as a series of colour sketches, before being painted on cast plaster. The plaster transforms the bright colours into a chalky palette of coastal tones. The textures and mark-making are greatly magnified and create wonderfully abstract detail on a large scale over our silk and cashmere art scarves and silk bits and bobs bags.
