We’re always looking at ways for our art scarves to be more environmentally considerate , from using natural fabrics to using less water and less harmful chemicals in our print process. And although our gift boxes are made from recycled or recyclable materials, We’ve always felt it was such a waste to have a lovely box that is ultimately discarded once the scarf is received.
What a terrible waste!
So, we are excited to replace our gift boxes with more sustainable silk pouches - made from the same silk as we use for our “Tree” silk squares. As well as being more environmentally considerate, they are a lovely way to store each scarf at home - or anything else delicate. And they look and feel beautiful too.
We’ll still provide the option of a gift box, whilst we have some in stock, but plan to be box free as soon as possible. And like the boxes, our pouches will be included in the price of our scarves.
