Inspired by long walks along the fields and beaches of the North Norfolk coast,

My Wildscape paintings started as a series of colour sketches, before being painted on plaster.

The plaster transforms the bright colours into a chalky palette of coastal tones. Once each piece is cast and air-dried, I work into the surface with a variety of tools which add additional layers of mark-making and texture. We chose two of the nine editions for printing on to our large silk scarves, wearable art, art cushions and long cashmere wrap. And we've just created a limited edition of art prints which are individually signed.

The textures from each of the little works are greatly magnified on silk and cashmere and create wonderfully abstract detail on a large scale. Original art scarves that stand out as being a little different in a world of mass production.
